A small Windows connector syncs your books to the cloud, and TallyNexa turns them into reports, a 13-week cash forecast, collections, GST and TDS checks, bank reconciliation, stock alerts and plain-English answers from Nexa AI — on Android, iPhone, web and WhatsApp. Your books stay in Tally.

Yes. TallyNexa has Android and iPhone apps, a web app that works in any browser, and WhatsApp.

Yes. You can ask Nexa AI about your books on WhatsApp and send payment reminders that list a customer's open bills. WhatsApp is included from the Growth plan.

Yes. Import your bank statement and TallyNexa matches it to the bank ledger in your Tally books, leaving a worklist of unmatched lines. Included in the Compliance+ plan.

Yes. Upload the GSTR-2B JSON from the GST portal and TallyNexa matches it against your purchase register, with a mismatch worklist and credit at risk. Included in the Compliance+ plan. TallyNexa prepares and reconciles; it does not file returns.

Yes. Draft invoices, receipts and journals in the app. Writing to Tally is off by default. A drafted voucher must balance and be approved before the connector posts it through Tally's own import. Included from the Growth plan.

Yes. After every sync, voucher counts, ledger counts and closing balances are checked back against Tally. TallyNexa also flags back-dated entries, vouchers edited after sync, possible duplicates, cancelled and post-dated vouchers and negative stock.

Yes. The connector reads your books through Tally's own local XML gateway — no TDL file is installed in Tally. It works with TallyPrime and Tally ERP 9.

No. The connector only reads by default, and your Tally data file is never edited by TallyNexa. Writing to Tally is off by default. A drafted voucher must balance and be approved before the connector posts it through Tally's own import.

The first sync imports your history; after that the connector sends only what changed, automatically, whenever Tally is open.

Only while a sync runs. Everyone else reads the synced copy, so the numbers are available with the office PC switched off.

After every sync, voucher counts, ledger counts and closing balances are checked back against Tally. If they do not match, you are told, and every screen shows when the books were last synced.

Nexa AI is TallyNexa's assistant. It answers questions about your books in plain English and labels every figure it quotes as read from your books, derived from them by arithmetic, or unsupported. It is the same verification-first assistant that powers MarketPing.

Nexa never writes database queries. It picks reports from a fixed catalogue, TallyNexa runs them, and Nexa answers only from their results. Every figure it quotes is then matched against those results; anything that cannot be traced is flagged in red in the answer, never quietly shown.

Yes. TallyNexa provides a read-only MCP endpoint with 23 tools. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or any MCP client can read your books with the same permissions as your login.

Nexa AI never gets database access. For each question it receives only the report results needed to answer it, and those results are not used to train AI models.

In India (Delhi data centre). Each business's books are separated at the database level.

Yes — TLS on every connection — the connector, the apps and the website, and your data is encrypted at rest.

Only people you invite. Your accountant or CA sees only the companies you give them access to.
