Download the Tally connector
A small program beside TallyPrime that reads your books through Tally's own gateway and keeps TallyNexa in step within minutes. No TDL, no exports, no administrator password.
Install in six steps
About five minutes, once. After that the connector starts with Windows and updates itself.

Download the setup
TallynexaConnectorSetup.exe, about 21 MB, on the computer that has Tally. - 2
Open it and press Install
It installs for you alone, with no administrator password, and starts with Windows. If Windows asks about a program it has not seen often, choose More info, then Run anyway. - 3
Link it to your account
A copy downloaded from your TallyNexa account links itself. Any other copy asks for a key or a pairing code: make one in TallyNexa under Settings, Connector, Link a computer, and paste it into the connector. - 4
Open Tally and load your company
The connector reads the companies that are open in TallyPrime. - 5
Let the connector in, once
In TallyPrime: Exchange, then Configure, then Client/Server configuration. Set TallyPrime to act as Both, Enable ODBC to Yes and the port to 9000, then accept. - 6
Choose the books to sync
In the connector or in TallyNexa. Accounts and items come first, then entries a batch at a time; you do not have to wait.

Questions about the connector
Is the TallyNexa connector free to download?
Yes. The connector is free to download and install; it syncs your books to your TallyNexa account, which is free for 7 days and then on a yearly plan.
What does the connector need?
A computer with Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) that runs TallyPrime, and an internet connection. It needs no administrator password and no TDL in Tally.
Does it keep running after I close its window?
Yes. Closing the window leaves it syncing; it starts with Windows and updates itself. Quit connector, in its window, stops it.
Is it safe?
The connector only reads the companies you choose through Tally's own gateway, and writes into Tally only the entries you approve in TallyNexa. Your books travel to our servers in India encrypted.
